Questions students and parents ask
Do I need a visa to join a camp in China?
It depends on your nationality — some countries currently enjoy visa-free short stays in China, and for the rest the program assists with invitation letters and guidance. Tell me your country and I'll confirm what applies to you.
Do I need to speak Chinese already?
No — Mandarin learning is part of every camp, and several are explicitly designed as a “first experience” of the language. Recent groups from Kazakhstan, Laos and the Philippines started from zero.
Where do students stay?
Accommodation is arranged by the program for each camp — typically university housing or partner hotels, confirmed in the camp's program plan before you commit.
What does the price include?
Inclusions vary by camp, so I won't quote a generic number — message me with the camp you're interested in and I'll send the program plan and exact price, including what's covered and what's not (international flights are usually separate).
When should I sign up?
Places and timelines vary by program. Tell me the timing that works best for you, and I'll suggest a practical plan and notify you in advance.
Can I also study a full degree in China?
Yes — beyond camps, DXJ also offers language programs and “Study in China” services. In partnership with leading Chinese universities, we help students who need language or academic bridging into undergraduate study, and support those interested in studying in China with scholarship applications.
